Luigi Caccia Dominioni

Milan, Italy

Luigi Caccia Dominioni (born 1913) is the quintessential Milanese architect and industrial designer. His contribution to the cityscape has been a series of projects best known for their subtlety. He avoids protruding profiles and plays with the façade of buildings. Founder of furniture brand Azucena, he’s designed over 100 objects from lighting to sofas, most still in production, that have found their way into the homes and foyers of Milanese residences, boutiques and restaurants.
